The Return of The Dance.

The Return of the Dance.
The Autumn Equinox arrived quietly, marking the turning of the season, the time when the days begin to shorten and we begin our gentle journey toward Winter.
A moment of balance, of transition, and of return.
It was not we who initiated the dance this time.
One of Ashtara’s neighbours felt the call, a quiet inner knowing that the Paneurythmy dance was meant to begin again. From her came the invitation, and from that invitation, the circle opened once more. It was through this neighbour’s calling that Ashtara agreed to begin the dance again, allowing it to return when the timing was right.
And so, on this Equinox morning, we gathered in her neighbour’s beautiful garden.
It was a place filled with beauty, a garden that felt alive with presence. There was a softness to it, as though it held its own quiet awareness. I could feel what I would describe as garden spirits, fairies, and devas, an atmosphere of gentle guardianship and joy.
As we prepared to begin, I sensed the garden responding, as if it recognised the movements that were about to unfold.
There was a feeling of welcome, of anticipation, and of delight.
In the centre, Agathena stood, a steady presence, transmuting and holding the energy as we gathered around.
We danced around a small yet beautiful tree, its presence simple yet strong.
Beneath our feet, the grass was lush and green.
Bare feet touched the earth directly, grounding us into the land with every step.
The morning itself seemed to support us.
The sun shone warmly overhead as clouds drifted slowly across the sky, full, yet holding their rain.
Birds sang from the surrounding trees.
A gentle breeze moved through now and then, brushing across the garden like a quiet breath.
A new group of women gathered, eager to watch, to learn, and to experience the dance. There was curiosity in their eyes, and openness in their presence.
As the music began, Ashtara and I stepped forward to demonstrate the movements.
On the surface, the dance appears simple, gentle steps and flowing gestures, yet within it lives a deeper story.
This is not just movement.
It is the story of the soul’s evolution.
Sacred geometry expressed through the body.
Wisdom carried forward from previous cycles.
A weaving together of individuals into community.
A quiet alignment between human rhythm and the rhythm of the Earth.
And as we moved, I could feel the garden responding with joy, as if the land itself was dancing alongside us.
A group of women…
Bare feet on green grass…
Moving in harmony around a living tree…
Beginning the dance again.
